Our Vision

Setting up a glamping site has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. While I was still at school, I imagined going to farming college, learning everything I could, and then returning home to create a glamping site on my family farm in Shropshire. Life didn’t follow that exact path — but the dream never went away.

I grew up on a beef and sheep farm in South Shropshire, where my mum ran (and still runs) a successful bed and breakfast and self-catering business. Welcoming guests to the farm was a huge part of my childhood, and something I was involved in from a very young age. Alongside that, I’ve always loved farming and horses, and glamping felt like the perfect way to bring all of those passions together.

I went on to university, where I met Bob, and after graduating we headed off travelling together. We spent 18 months in Australia, working our way around on farms and living out of a slide-on camper van. Parking up under the stars, living simply and being surrounded by nature only strengthened my desire to create a place where others could experience that same sense of peace and escape.

When we returned to the UK in 2015, we moved to Bob’s family farm in Worcestershire and got married in 2019. After the birth of our first son, I was made redundant from my job working with cattle — and it felt like a now-or-never moment. We decided to take the leap and create Fibden Farm Glamping, and we haven’t looked back since.

Today, Fibden Farm Glamping is a reflection of everything we love: countryside living, farming, family and welcoming guests. Our aim is simple — to offer relaxed, comfortable stays where people can slow down, switch off and enjoy the beauty of farm life and the Worcestershire countryside.

The Farm

Fibden is a working farm, farming goats, sheep and arable crops. As well as running the safari tent I am a Bovine artificial insemination technician. Bob works on the farm with his dad. We have 2 children, Teddy (3) and Ida (1), a horse called George, a pony called Starlight, and a dog called Pip.

We love showing our guests around the farm and talking to you about what we do! There is something to see at any time of year, from feeding lambs or kids in the Spring to watching the combine harvest crops in the Summer. Our herd of Boer goats are real crowd pleasers and a favorite with guests all year round!

We hope you love Fibden as much as we do, and we hope to welcome you soon!
